So this week was full of amazing awesome things. We are still getting used to using our smartphones, but they have been such a blessing. We were able to skype an investigator who lives far away and we havent been able to meet in a long time. Skype lessons! So cool. We met with a guy 3 times this week because of it :) So cool.
So I wasnt going to share this because I know it will freak my mom out, but it was such a huge miracle I feel like I should. Last thursday we played frisbee as a zone. I always go a little crazy with frisbee because I love it so much. Well that day it was rainy, and I had taken a couple of falls but none of them were a big deal. Well our last point before had to finish, I was running for the frisbee and I slipped and rolled my ankle... really bad. I felt a pretty solid pop, and was in a ton of pain. I was pretty certain I had broken it. After laying there for a couple of minutes I got up and was able to walk. I thought ok its just sprained, no big deal. By the time we had made it home (like 5 minutes) my ankle had swollen up huge. Well I toughed it out through the day and it was pretty distracting so finally my companion convinced me to go see a doctor. After taking an ultrasound, he told me that it was sprained pretty bad and that I would need to be in a brace for 6 weeks (at the follow up he said that It was a grade 2 sprain and that I would actually need to be in a brace for 3 months, or they could cast it). Well when we made it home for the night, I prayed super hard that it would just not affect my proselyting. I didnt want to think about it when I was walking around talking with people. I then had my companion give me a blessing right before bed. I woke up and I had zero pain from walking. If I moved it weird or bumped it, it hurt, but normal walking and biking had absolutely no affect. It was amazing. I know that God hears our prayers and will take care of us. My foot still hurts, but " And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord did astrengthen them that they could bear up their bburdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with cpatience to all the will of the Lord."
Love you guys. Dont worry about my foot mom, Im a big boy :)
It looks a lot better now
