feliz lunes

So this week was really interesting. I was traveling a lot going to little cities outside of Antofagasta, but when I got back to my sector and got up to the tomas there was like 50 new shopping carts from Unimarc (a local store like Walmart) because the night before people had broken in and stolen everything out of the store raiding it. I later had a funny experience in a baptismal interview in a little town called Mejillones. Love this little city with all my heart. When I was doing the interview I finished with the questions and asked if he had any questions. He then asked me if being baptized in the church gave him legal authorization to be married to more than one woman. I started laughing so hard inside and thought of putting a post on social media saying #ifonly or something like hopefully that's the big news in #generalconference2020. Other than that is was a normal week. I had a baptism of a lady that has been attending for over 6 months which was really cool. First time the ward actually was a part
of a convert baptism. Its so hard getting these members to do anything. We all should be so willing to help new members feel comfortable in the church. Its so embarrassing to see how uncomfortable the people are when they walk in the doors of the church and
get looked at like they are a hobo off the side of the street.
