The Christmas season is upon us but it is weird to be in summer during this time. This new area is proving to be very difficult, not for the lack of opportunities but due to the resistance of the local leaders. The bishops and stake presidents in this area do not like the missionaries. I knew that coming in but I didn't think it would be this hard. They fight us on everything. We had a young man that was ready for baptism but the bishop of the ward said he didn't want him baptized and the stake president backed him up on it. Now president Larson is involved and he is just a frustrated as us missionaries are. We have our Christmas party on the 20th, it will be fun to see some of my friends that I have made while being out here. Tienes un Feliz Navidad! Te amo.
