Subject: New Cambio
So today is the start of a new cambio. This week we started off having our meetings with President and yet again it was not what I was expecting. After I said the opening prayer he said Elder Richardson I have one thing I want to discuss with you. As my heart dropped knowing it was probably for something bad or something I'm not doing right he asked me if I was ready to be a zone leader. So he is trying to get me to be ready to be a zone leader now. But we have this new cambio that starts today and I am opening a sector here in Arica with my kid. We don't know what to expect as we both are still new missionaries but we are putting all we have in the lord. It was sad leaving the ward I had as I made some great friends with the members but we left a
great mark on the ward as we baptized somebody named Dylan yesterday. We was so happy and excited and as he came out of the water he gave me a thumbs up and I gave him a giant hug for his giant accomplishment. He has had problems with his family for a long
time and has put himself in a place where he doesn't tell anybody about his real self, not even his wife. As I was filling at the baptismal paper I asked him his age and he said well what do you think? I said I'm thinking 23 but I'm not sure. His wife said he didn't tell her his real age for months after they started dating. Turns out he is 19 like me.They have the cutest little girl named Sophia that loves me to death. She is like Bugsy from the bedtime story because he eyes are so big, but we had a great week and I'm really excited to start off in this new sector and new ward.
