Subject: Como estamos
Ya so this week was crazy. The first three days of the week I didn't work in my sector because I either didn't have a comp or I wasn't there. So I left Tuesday night and drove 12 hours down to Antofagasta in bus and waiting to pick up my new comp for 8 hours. Left Antofagasta for a 12 hour bus ride back up to Arica so I was dead tired from the trip. When I got to Antofagasta and the new missionaries came out I went and talked to one of them that seemed pretty cool. His name is Elder Shipley. I asked him where he is from and he told me Utah and I asked what city, he responded with a small city just next to Ogden so I said sick I'm from Ogden what city are you from and he told me Farr West. He lives over in Remuda and went to the farewell of Jake one of my best friends so I was super excited to talk to this kid. My kid though is Elder Tillotson from eagle Mountain Utah and he is really cool. His Spanish is coming along really fast and he has impressed me a lot. Hes starting to open up now. So when we got back to Arica I knew we were out of toilet paper in the apartment and I figured Elder Voelkel and Elder Johnson didn't buy any so I stopped by Walmart to get my kid some food and get toilet paper. We were walking down the aisle and I hurried and grabbed the
toilet paper and the stuff he needed. Took everything home and we were good and set to work. In the night I handed the toilet paper to Elder Voelkel as he went into the bathroom. After like two minutes he yells me name and starts calling me and Idiot and I was wondering what kind of trick I played because I didn't realize I did anything. He walks out of the bathroom with his pants down just wearing his garments and said why in the freak did you buy paper towels to wipe our butts. I had done it so quickly I didn't even notice. Another crazy story I had was when I was in my sector next to the tomas. There was a drunk guy coming towards us and his mouth was all weird but I thought nothing of it. He starts yelling at us as he got closer and when I looked at him his shirt,
arms, and face were covered in blood and blood was literally spilling out of his mouth in a giant glob. We called the carabineros as he yelled at us what are you going to do about it. a couple days later I had an intercambio and worked with Elder Voelkel again.
My old comp and as we were walking we heard a song from Bruno Mars and at the same time stopped and started dancing to the music. We are really cool. We are like twins in the work
