Subject: Week of Miracles
Please excuse my English are it is starting to really suck but I will do my best as always. So this week honestly was the most amazing week I have had in my mission. We started off on Tuesday night teaching a lady that is less active. She hasn't gone to the church in 10 years and had no desire whatsoever to return. Missionaries have constantly passed by trying to get her and her family to come back to the church because she has 5 kids and none of them are baptized or anything. So my comp and I were talking with her gaining her confidence as you always do and she told us all the missionaries that passed by trying to teach her but she has no testimony at all. My comp and I discussed really fast what to share with her and My comp says I have a feeling about
a lesson. I said I have a feeling about lesson one which is the restoration, he told me perfect and we started sharing it. She said ya just get to the Joseph smith part with the columna de luz. We told her to be patient and I shared that part. She had some questions about it and we answered them and then I was explaining about the fruits of prophets the fruit of Joseph smith and the importance of the book of Mormon. Followed the spirit on what to say and she broke down crying. She wiped her tears away and looked me in the eyes and said I finally know the truth. I now know the church is true and its because of you. I started crying on the inside realizing how powerful the spirit really is and the importance of listening to the spirit. She ended up going to church with
her family and I signed her book of Mormon and marked a part for her to read. It was one of the most amazing experiences I think I will ever have in my life. We had a baptism yesterday of a 12 year old kid named Mayrin. He was really excited and is the happiest kid in the world now that he got to be baptized. We are working with his mom so that she can too. She really wants to get sealed in the temple! We have somebody that can be baptized next week named Estefany and she wants to be a missionary in the future, she is 19 just lacks three years. It was an amazing week!!!
