Primera semana en Chile!

Subject: Primera semana en Chile!

Chile is crazy. It's nothing like what I thought it was. Its only been a couple days here but its crazy. The people are so nice and caring but at the same time I'm in the worst part of Iquique where all the drug deals are going on so I wouldn't
say its the safest place. Spanish is coming along really well for me. I already speak Spanish better than a kid that's at 3 months. I just struggle following along with the people when they talk because they talk so so fast. We decided to go to a street just
by the mountain called Valle Verde where we had never gone before. It was later at night and kind of creepy. We looked at it and it seemed really ghetto so we said a prayer first. We we opened our eyes there was a hooker coming down towards us so we made sure
to get out of the way. We walked a little bit up and there was a ton of people. It was like the perfect opportunity to teach but then we both stopped walking at the same time and said to each other we cant go there. The spirit strongly told us not to. We may
never know why but it was a cool experience to listen to the spirit. We have 12 investigators right now that we are teaching and we have 4 people set for baptism this week. Fun fact about Chile! Its apparently normal to breastfeed your child in the middle of a lesson with the missionaries!
