Okay so this week I baptized four little girls. Its easier in Spanish i think but it was an awesome experience nevertheless. My English is horrible with Latinos. I can talk to all the other gringos in English with no problem but when it comes
to talking to a Latino it is so hard. My Spanish is really good. I can talk with people all on my own. I contact people on my own and teach on my own. I finally feel like a missionary now! It feels good. I can testify that you need to be worthy you need to
have the spirit in your mission. With ought it, it is impossible to make it through the challenges of it. With the language I felt like giving up so many times but I always turned to the Lord because I know through him all things are possible. You learn to
have all of the Christ like attributes really quickly as you feel like nothing but as you are patient and give it all you have you will get the language down or finish the struggle. I love this work so much! Its so hard to believe that I have been out almost
3 months. It feels like I got here yesterday. This is the last week of my first cambio so I'm already a regular missionary and not a newbie. The food is really really good here, the people in Iquique really know how to cook. The food is muy rico. Just not the
tomatoes. I have grown to like avocado, onions, and cucumber but i cannot do tomatoes. I throw up so many times after eating with members because the salads they have here are just tomatoes and onions. Its rough.
