This week was pretty awesome, quite a few miracles!
Okay so the first miracle was on Monday. We met a guy named Lio Fiji a few weeks ago and he told us we could come by. So Monday night we knocked and he was excited to see us and quickly let us in. We taught him the restoration and gave him the Book of Mormon which he gladly excepted and told us he would pray to know if its true. He also said that if he learns that our message is true then he will be baptized so lets pray he gets the confirmation from the spirit that the Book of Mormon is true! He told us we can come back next Tuesday and that we can teach him and all the other Fijian guys living there so we are pretty excited.
The next miracle was on Tuesday morning. We went to go try and visit a few people from the ward list we didn't know about and then knock some doors after. We found out that one of the members moved and so we decided to go tracting at a near by street. About the fourth house we knocked an 18 year old girl named Line opened the door. She said that she had a few friends that were Mormons and that she was curious to know what we believed. We ended up teaching her the restoration at the door and she took the Book of Mormon promising to read and pray about its truthfulness! Not much later after that we were at the bus stop and we started talking to this group of young guys and man they were funny. We were having a great time talking and one of the Fijian kids told us that we could come by and talk to him more about the church! Okay but that isn't even the end of our day. So as we were on the bus making our way back home we sat next to this guy that ended up being a member that was here in Sydney for a conference. He was telling us all about his conversion. As we were getting off the bus he was telling us that he was a physical therapist and that the conference he came for was to learn new techniques and stuff. Well Elder Beazer said he had a problem with his knee so the guy was testing some of his muscles and trying to find the problem. Well while this was happening this guy from Africa named Ama comes up to me and asked me what we did. I told him that we taught the gospel of Jesus Christ and he started explaining about how he is religious but that he is trying to find some answers to some of his questions about the God head and stuff. Well we talked to him for a bit answering some of his questions and then got his contact info to visit with him next week! So yea we got some pretty awesome potentials all in one day! We texted Pauline the other day and asked how she was going and if she read any of the Book of Mormon and she said yes! She did say that she is only wanting to learn about our religion just to educate herself and that she doesn't have any intention to join but i think that as we meet with her and as she reads the Book of Mormon the light of the gospel will come into her heart and she will gain the desire to follow Jesus Christ.
Sunday we met with the YSA reps and made some plans for working with them and strengthening the YSA. They gave us a few referrals which is awesome and they are keen to go out with us. We are really hoping that we can see heaps of success as we work closely with the YSA.
So yea this week was really awesome and i am really excited to see how this week goes. Time seems to be flying by faster than i can comprehend and so i try to make every day and every moment count. Have a great week everyone!
