Spokane Washington 2nd Ward

Elder Farr

Professional Organist

Hey everyone,

Another great week here in Spokane! I have been loving it here and it's been great being able to continue to meet lots of people. We had a lesson with a guy we are teaching and it was amazing! Let me tell you more about it.

First of all we had transfers this week and since Elder Farr and I both stayed it didn't effect our companionship. However Elder Hayes who is another missionary who lives with us left and that was sad. To say goodbye we went to MOD pizza so that was a good way to end it. Then we got Elder Woodhead in the apartment and it's been fun having him here. I already knew him before, he and I are a lot alike so it's been great so far!

So the lesson that we had on Thursday was amazing! We taught David the plan of salvation and we had a professional organist playing in the background for it. You might be wondering how we pulled that off? Well we were talking with a member in the ward who was our fellowship for the lesson and he told us he knew an organist and that he could get him to come and play in the background for us. It worked out perfectly and it made for a spiritual discussion.

Another cool thing from the week was just yesterday. We went out with our ward mission leader and Elders Quorum president and tried contacting some people we haven't seen at church for a while. It was probably one of the best times I have had contacting people with members in a while. The spirit definitely guided us and we were able to talk with a lot of people.

For a quick spiritual thought this week I just wanted to encourage you all to share what is in your heart with someone this week. Even if that is just that God loves you or that you love spending time with your family or whatever it might be. Try and share something that will uplift someone else and I know it will help you and them. I hope that you all have a good week!

Your friendly neighborhood

Elder Webb
