The Binary Sunset

Hey everyone,

This week was a pretty fun one!! We had our zone conference on Wednesday and our Temple Trip on Thursday! They were both awesome and I'm so grateful for all of the great things that are happening here in Spokane.
To start this last Monday was a shortened preparation day because of the temple trip on Wednesday, which I was cool with because I love going to the temple! We ended P day at around three and then had another lesson with Haley and she is still doing awesome! She told us that she is so excited to be baptized and that she knows that this is what she needs to be doing with her life right now! Amazing how the Lord works, using the spirit to teach people the truthfulness of the gospel. Tuesday we did some service for an Elderly Lady named Janice who we have done service for in the past. She really appreciates the work that we do for her in her yard and she is so nice to us. She always brings out cookies and lemonade for us and just has a very kind heart. We talked with her about having us over to teach her about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it will bless her life. She is open to doing that so we are planning on stopping by soon to have a lesson with her so that should be great! We also had a brief lesson with Michael that night and so we have almost finished teaching him everything so he will be all set to be baptized this Sunday!!
Wednesday we had our zone conference and that is always great! It was awesome to see some missionaries I know that I haven't seen in a while! Always a fun and exciting time! The zone conference had a few little differences between one that the Dymocks would do but that's okay because the Lord knows best. The Thompsons are amazing and they are what the Washington Spokane Mission needs right now. Anyways we learned more about planning and how to do it effectively as well as how to find more effectively. Over all it was awesome and I always really enjoy zone conference.
Thursday we had our temple trip and it was fantastic! I always love going to the temple and feeling the spirit in the house of the Lord. When I go to the temple it always reminds me of going with my dad for the first time and of course going for a whole week with my mom before I left on my mission. Those are such great memories that I am so grateful that I have! Families are forever and I love that so much! After the temple we went to dinner at the Van Cleaves again and had a dinner and lesson with Trish. Trish is still doing well and she is reading the book of mormon and honestly seeking to know if it's true. I know that she'll get her answer and it'll be great!
We were also able to teach Henry again this week and we finished all the lessons with him and now he's ready for the interview and baptism! He is going to be baptized this Sunday as well and we are just super excited! Henry asked me if I would be able to baptize him and of course I said yes! So that'll be so amazing, I can't wait! I haven't baptized anyone in the past so I am a little nervous but I know it'll be good!

Those are pretty much the highlights of the week! I hope that you have all had a great week and that you are all reading from the book of mormon daily! It does bring so many blessings! I can testify that it is the most true book on earth and that it contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Also seek out for revelation in your life and I promise as you do so you will see it come!

I hope you all have a great week and I'll talk to you again soon!
