We found a lot of families that are very interested to learn and listen to us. And that is the first step to missionary work. Next, they need to attend church. If they don't attend, there aren't baptisms.
No one attended church this week and that was a shocker for me as there is always at least one investigator that attends. Me and my companion took an hour to think about how would can help them assist.
Something that I have learned in my mission is that if someone realizes you are there to serve them, they will act. I didn't get the opportunity to see their baptism, but my old companion, Elder Moyano, just baptized a family this past week that wouldn't attend! They started to attend because we made a poster for them that reminded them of the things they needed to do to become closer to God. And then they acted.
I that when we serve others, we get rewarded in many ways.
Sorry that I never have photos, my mission isn't a touristy mission. There's dirt and houses and a church in every corner.
