Hola Hermanos y Hermanas,
I had the great experience of bapitizing for the first time last Saturday, November 12, Victor and Alma Cisneros Sanchez. What great spirits they have. They were pretty nervous for their baptism, as was I, but it was a great service with great talks from members of the ward. They will be confirmed this Sunday, since we had a special conference this past Sunday. The day I arrived in Queretaro, my companion and I had a meeting with them that night, so it was cool that my first appointment in Mexico turned out to be my first baptism.
It's been great here, the city is nice and new, with nice people, we just had a nice little cold front, with cloudy skies, a little sprinkle, 50 degrees for the whole week, I know for some of you that isn't all that cold, but I was pretty cold.
The spanish is improving daily, and I'm able now to understand most people and better understanding the Book of Mormon in Spanish as well. The people here tell me I speak pretty well too, I think I'm starting to fit in a little more.
Thanks for all your wonderful Emails, it means a lot to here from my friends and what they're up to, Have a great week everyone.
