Bonners Ferry

Elder Robert Young

Bonners Ferry week 18- 1st White Christmas!

We got our transfer calls this morning. I am staying in Bonners Ferry and 2nd training Elder Young! That means I will hit 6 months in Bonners, time flies!
Christmas week - One Skype call down, three to go! Such a fun time talking to the family and having Christmas here! On Christmas Eve we had our preparation day then later went over to the Goggia's who live in the northern part of our area by the Canadian border. They hosted a big Christmas party that was super fun! After, we went back to our house and had the Elders from Troy/Libby and Bonners Ferry 1st ward come over and spend the night. We had a crazy snowball fight then we had permission to play games so we had a wild game of Phase 10. We woke up in the morning and opened gifts, had some French toast casserole, then went to the church with the Miller family who got a bunch of nerf guns and we had a crazy nerf war! After, we Skyped at the Hartmans. Then we went and visited a couple families in the ward. One guy we went to visit lives way back in the mountains. We did not realize how icy the road was until it was to late... We couldn't turn around so we just kept on going all the way up!
A girl we are teaching said she tried to look me up on Facebook this week but she thought my first name was actually Elder hahah.
Thank you for all the letters, and packages!

Love y'all-
Elder Russell Belnap
