Bonners Ferry

Elder Robert Young

Bonners Ferry week 13 - "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" -Train

This week I said goodbye to the one and only Elder Javier but said hello to Elder Young! Elder Young is my new trainee from Florence, Mississippi!
It has been a crazy week, we went to Spokane on Wednesday and I had meetings for a couple hours on training. Also, Quentin Heywood came into the mission this transfer so I got to see him!
On Thanksgiving we started by playing football with the ward in POURING rain and snow, it was so fun but cold! Elder Young got trucked by bishop Newell, who is a HUGE guy who played college football! We were cracking up! After we went with the other set of Elders back to our house and put our clothes in the dryer. While waiting for that, we made hand Turkeys and drank chocolate milk. We then had to go to a couple member dinners. The first one was with our ward mission leaders family, the Hartman’s. Sister Hartman is such a great cook! And they had someone who is not a member there and we had a awesome conversation with him! Later in the evening we were approved to play board games so we borrowed Ticket to Ride from the Hartman's and played a game as a district!
It has been awesome training, I am alot more aware of everything I do! I love y'all and hope to hear from all of ya!
