Caldwell, Texas, United States

Weekly Letter

It seems like we do not have normal days, what ever that is - we did visits to those who didn't attend Church, we taught two youth lessons to those we hope to see baptized before we leave. Tuesday Sister Penniston was not feeling well so we took her to stay with Mary Mckissin (thirty min. West of Caldwell) then we took Sister Lovell to an meeting in College Station (Thirty min East of Caldwell) then went to Franklin (forty min North and East of College Station) to a lesson with Cricket, who should be baptized this month, what a spiritual and fun lesson. Then back (over an hour) to pick up Sis. Penniston and bring her home. We did Family Home Evening with the Mitchell family, Helped Sister Lay plant her garden, again to the Hagan rescue to get horses in and repair the fence. Repair of a riding lawn mower, and repair of a vacuum cleaner, (the Lord helps those who blindly jump into into these projects) and Sister Larsen did four piano lessons. Then we enjoyed General Conf. while there was tornado warnings and heavy rain outside. What a great Conference. Texas is beautiful this time of year, lots of wild flowers along the roads and the crops springing up in the fields. We have come to Love and admire the people in this area. Nearly everyone here goes to Church, (many of the Churches, you have never heard of) We hope to show the Saviors Love to everyone, as He Blesses us for our Service. May we each be found in the Service of our fellow men. Love the Larsen's
