Weekly Letter

Lots of good visits this week, Fed the Sisters dinner, did service for Mary McKissen, (had to trim off the bottom of two doors that were scratching the floor.) Helped the Goodwin's move into a new house, their furnishings were in San Antonio and it rained on them all the way. We were helping empty the more wet boxes, when Sister Larsen found a box of hand sewed quilt blocks that had be given her by her grandmother 16 years ago, now Sister Larsen is going to help put the blocks together. (That will be painful) Visited the neighbor from down stairs, in the hosp. with pneumonia - her pastor was there visiting, and he had been at a rest home with the Sister missionaries earlier in the week. (he is from South Africa) we had a good visit with him and with the neighbor. Surprised at the comments we have got from some of the non members who are aware of our short time left. they think it is unfair to come , make good friends then leave. We have made some great friends with members and with non members and it will be hard to leave it all behind. This week has been some celebrations for Texas Birthday, but not as impressive as the Parowan Birthday, and different kind of dancing. We have learned to Love the people of Texas and will make full use of the time remaining. Love sharing the Gospel and are teaching two young people preparing for Baptism. May God Bless each of you and thank you each for the many prayers for us during this service. Love The Larsen's
