Ring out the Old - Ring in the New - We only got ten visits this week, but we got lots of meals , so we are well fed, we did take egg custard to Dan who has throat cancer and struggling to get any food that doesn't hurt his mouth and throat. Elder Larsen spent one day helping Dan work on his boat, put in lights on the dash and seats to sit on to fish. Sister Larsen was ill with the flu for a couple days. Ended the year with a baptism, we went to pick up Laurie Banuskevich, for the Baptism, but was informed that she had went out to pull her garbage can in and had fallen and knocked her out and put a gash in her head, the neighbor had found her in the yard and called the ambulance. The baptism went great, Kaitlyn is 16 and her brother was baptized two weeks ago, her mom was baptized two months ago and her Grand Mother was baptized in May or June.. Today as we were getting ready to go to Church, when we got a call from Laurie to pick her up at the Hospital and bring her home, but she has pneumonia and the Dr wants her to stay a little longer - her phone had died and so we ran home to get her charger and lock her home, (Bryan is about 40 min. one way and we went over and back twice today), plus went 30 min. another direction to visit with a Sister who is ill.
What a way to start the new year. Don't cry because it is over, Smile because it happened. Lots of stands selling fireworks, but very little seen to welcome the New Year. So thankful for the blessings of the past year, and looking forward to the new adventure ahead
Love the Larsen's
