Hello!
Being a music missionary is sweet. We go to rehearsals all the time, and we now have about 8 commitments we practice for and will eventually perform.We will be performing Handel's Messiah in a monastery, with real monks. We're in the Dickinson State University band, and choir, and the community band and choir. We are arranging a musical number for all 8 missionaries in Dickinson 1st ward to perform the last Sunday in November.We are going to be performing music at an interfaith Christmas event here in Dickinson at our church building, which will be put in the newspaper and will be like a temple open house, but for our church.We will be doing the exact same kind of interfaith event in Bismarck as well, an hour and a half away, which means we drive up there each Sunday for practice. We will be performing at our mission Christmas party, in Bismarck as well.We still are handed more commitments all the time.We are guaranteed to be here until at least December 31st, which is mid transfer. They might transfer us out January 1st, after Christmas is over.
