Hello!
Transfer week. Welp.
I'm washing Wolf Point, and being District Leader.
Washing means that my new companion and I are both new to the area, which
means we have no idea what's going on. :)
Wolf Point is a Native American Reservation, which will be fun. Typically
missionaries don't like serving on them. I'm going in with a good
attitude!!! I'm going to love it, because love is an action word, a verb!!!
District Leader basically means more responsibilities, leadership and
stuff you know. Basically every missionary is a district leader at some
point, so don't think I'm awesome or anything. :)
I guess President Hess, and God, trust me haha, and know it's time for me
to grow. I'll miss Sidney! I'm ready to grow though, I think I learned
everything I could here in Sidney.
Besides that, Sidney is bumping! The work is incredible here, we taught
like 17 different lessons last week. :) We've found five new investigators
in the last two weeks, and that is definitely because of our fast two or
three weeks ago!!! Three of them have just came to lessons with other
people we've been teaching, then invited us back to teach them. And they're
all super solid and progressing!!!
We're working on getting Javier the Aaronic Priesthood! Then he'll be
able to go to the temple. The cool thing is, when Javier does go to the
temple, Elder Porter (my trainer, first companion) and I will be able to go
to the temple with him, even though we're in different areas.
I'm pumped for transfers!!! Don't send me anything until I figure out my
new shipping address haha :)
Pics:
1: We made pens at a member's house! This is the blank and the finished
product next to each other :)
2: Uncapped, but still with some protective stuff on the nib (it's a
fountain pen!!! :) )
3: Earwax candles, they draw out all of the earwax in your ears... they
really work!!! Haha we cut this one open after and it was nasty 0_0
