Elder Porter and I actually made 10 3-pointers in a row, consecutively. He
made one, I made one, he made one, I made one, all the way to ten in a row.

By the way, we are actually doing a ton of missionary work up here. I
know I haven't really mentioned much of that, but we actually teach
multiple lessons a day most of the time. We have multiple investigators who
are progressing. I just haven't been telling you about it!!!
I'll tell you about one of them. I'll keep his name private. He separated
from his girlfriend recently, and she has custody of their child. She's
into alcohol and drugs, so he's working to get custody of his child so she
can be raised in a better environment. We've been teaching him, he's come
to church about 4-6 times now, and he just accepted to live the Word Of
Wisdom, and gave the member we were teaching him with all of his alcohol.
Something tells me he's going to get baptized. Definitely another testimony
builder for me on the fact that the Lord prepares people to receive His
Gospel.
That's just one of about 15-20 distinct families and individuals we see
on a regular basis. :) You knew we worked hard, right? Haha, of course you
did.
But seriously, a ton of random stuff happened this week. I'm so glad I
journal each night, because it's some pretty awesome stuff to remember.
On Saturday, we were walking, and we saw this kid playing basketball in
front of his house. We walked up to him, and started playing with him. His
friend came over, and we continued playing basketball. We got to know them
pretty well, then we challenged them to a 2-on-2 game, if we win, we teach
them about what we believe. First one to 11 wins. We crushed them 11-7
(there may be some divine intervention involved here haha). We're going to
actually teach him tonight. We're super pumped.
Oh, and by the way, the humidity has been ridiculous. Haha I totally
appreciate dryness now. That being said, I like sweating, so it's not so
bad.
