So, every week we have success bringing people to church and having lessons. Almost every week we have brought at least 1 person and the other weeks 5 people. The joke is that they don’t want to progress. It looks I’m not gonna be able to baptize this month just for the investigators not wanting to. Oh well, maybe we can have a miracle or something. That’s basically what we are waiting for.
Transfers are coming soon, and we don’t know who’s gonna stay.
So, we literally almost broke the whole plumbing system for the bathroom in our house. Supposedly you ain’t supposed to throw the paper in the bowl but I mean that house has had 7 months of Elders throwing paper in the bowl. It got to the
point that when we flushed everything would come up from the shower drain
because it had nowhere to go. Super cool right? We tried everything from plunging the shower to throwing acid in the drain and every attempt made it worse. We got someone to fix it, but he had to make a hole in front of our front door, find the pipe, and remove everything else. I’ll save the details, but I was the aerosol spray man as the plumber broke the pipe and took everything out. It was funny because the plumber almost fixed everything with
garbage he found in the street. Like, to fix the hole he made in the pipe, he went into the street, disappeared for 15 mins, and came back with an empty yogurt container, split it in half and patched the hole with the cup. Pure intelligence.
This p-day we were gonna go to Chichen Itza, but the sisters asked first, and in this mission we can’t go at the same time, so we just played a bunch of basketball.
I like the thing that my cousin is doing in her letters. Imma copy it so I can write more stuff. I’ve been studying a lot about faith and the blessing one can have if they have faith, I liked Ether 12:4. Faith literally is the anchor in our life if we want to
survive spiritually. (I understand the scripture better in Spanish help me
haha.)
Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with for a better world, yea, even a place at the right
hand of God, which
hope cometh of
faith, maketh an
anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure
and steadfast, always abounding in
good works, being led to
glorify God.
