Anziano Tyler Brady

Well this week was pretty dang awesome. I had a super fun birthday and ate just a ton of lasagna allllllll day. At lunch we had Pesto Lasagna and then that night we ate some classical Ragu lasagna. And to top it all off, a FAT tiramisu.(an amazing Italian sweet cake thing). And then the blessing just kept on coming because I got to go back to Sanremo to do some document work Tuesday night and so all Wednesday was just a huge party seeing all of my past friends and seeing all of the beauties of Sanremo. It has been a nice vacation and I'm on the train back to Prato right now so I'm a little sad I have to end it and get back to work haha. Man I just love this country!!!
So I actually want to talk more about the Italian dessert, "Tiramisu". So the word comes from three words. TIRA(Pull/pick)  mi(me)   su(up). It literally just means "pick me up". Because all the people that eat it are happier after because it is so amazing! We could all use some "pick me ups" in our life. Just something to lift our spirits and brighten our day a little. There is a quote from Elder Richard G. Scott that says,
"Scriptures are like packets of light that illuminate our minds and give place to guidance and inspiration from on high. They can become the key to open the channel to communion with our Father in Heaven and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ."

So if any of you need a little "tiramisu", try the scriptures. I know they really help because if I didn't have the scriptures I would not have been able to make it this far. They truly are life savers!!!
Have a good week, ciao!
