Things are still going good as usual. This week we were able to teach a lot of lessons again and we have some powerful investigators progressing towards baptism. This week we also had exchanges with the District Leader of Lusaka District and his companion. So on Friday I was able to take Elder Jones and show him around Matero. It turned out to be a great day full of teaching "people", (we aren't supposed to say investigators anymore) and ministering to members/recent converts.
This week sadly we weren't able to confirm our three girls that were baptized last week but this upcoming week they should be confirmed so no worries. This tends to happen every once in a while here. The good thing though is that this week we had 6 more "people" at church and they were all very important investigators that are progressing towards baptism. Some of them we have been waiting to see at church for a long time and now we can give them baptismal dates and help them move forward. It is exciting to see the work moving on here.
This week not a whole lot of exciting things happened but both me and my companion Elder Harmon are happy to be serving in Matero. Until next week. Sending love from Zambia!
Pics: The neighborhood dog (our best friend), a weird wall painting (common in Zambia), and my comp made burgers with homemade buns. They were way good! Enjoy!
