Week 16 Ndola -- Another Baptism planned for Saturday May 5!

Hey everyone! Reporting again here from the Great Zambia Lusaka Mission. This week a lot of good things happened!

On Tuesday I was able to attend my 2nd District Leader Training in Kitwe. That was a really good experience! I came out of that meeting feeling really inspired about how I can become a better missionary, comp, and leader. It was also nice to be able to greet a couple members from that Branch sense I used to be apart of it.

Throughout the rest of the week it was just the normal teaching investigators and trying our best to always find new people to teach. It is very easy to find new investigators here haha the only problem is remembering to find ALWAYS in ALWAYS. That was a challenge given to us from Sister Kupu, my Mission Presidents Wife. So this week I sent out a challenge everyday to all of the missionaries in my district to find a new investigator in a new way. So for example one day we had to find through a member referral, or take a picture with a random person and then turn that person into a new investigator, etc. It was a fun challenge and it worked great this week. This week the district of 10 missionaries found a total of 40+ new investigators.

We have been working hard to prepare all of our investigators for baptism. We received counsel to begin with the end in mind so we have really be trying to do that lately. This week we will have a baptismal interview for Agnes Chama. She is a very powerful investigator. Our Branch President really likes her because she has a lot of potential. She is 50+ and he thinks she could become the next Relief Society President, so way cool!

On Sunday we had 6 investigators attend church which was good. We also have 6 investigators with a baptismal date. The work is going great here. I can't complain. Well until next week. Sending love from Africa!!

Pic this week was from the challenge to take a pic with a random person on the street and turn that person into a new investigator. Well we got two investigators with one stone.... or I guess you could say one pic.
