An Experience I WONT FORGET!

Hey everyone! How goes it?

This week was another eventful one for sure!

On Tuesday I decided to give the presentation in District meeting on the things we learned in our most recent Zone Conference and it went pretty good. After District meeting the ZL's drove me and my comp to Kitwe so that I could attend the District Leader Training. It was really good. We received some instruction from the AP's and President Kupu about the importance of retaining recent converts and reactivating less active members. We made it back in time to make it to two of our appointments which was good.

Wednesday morning I got to interview another person for baptism and she passed with flying colours. Natasha Kunda will be a very good addition to the Masala Branch. She came to church consistently for over 5 months and is now finely a member. That day we also had a very powerful experience with one of our investigators named Collins. So in our previous lesson he wouldn't accept the fact that Joseph Smith saw our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Well, after we did all we could sharing scriptures, we told him just have to pray about it. Well he gave us the vibe that he didn't want to pray about it and he wouldn't, but he accepted a return appointment. Well we made a lesson plan to go and teach him and share the scripture from D&C 130 talking about the Godhead but we were shocked with how the lesson went. We showed up and he told us he prayed about Joseph Smith's vision and he told us he now believes it is true. We were shocked! We came prepared to blast him but we found out that the spirit confirmed what we couldn't. That is the fact that Joseph Smith in all reality did see God and Jesus Christ and they did speak to him. I believe this with all my heart. That is an experience I will never forget.

Thursday I went to Luanshya on exchanges with the ZL's. I had the opportunity to work with Elder Fuller and my comp got to work with Elder Chaukee. Both of them are very powerful missionaries and good example to me as a newer District Leader. We had a really good day. It was also way nice to work with a truck! It's been a long time haha. We were able to teach a lot of really good lessons. We also had member help. I found out they work with members everyday.

Ahhh.... sorry this email is cut in half because it is closing time at the internet cafe so I guess next week you will get to hear the rest of the story. Sorry.

Have a great week! Until next week.
