Not a ton to report--except the fact that I have only three more weeks left out here! It's a crazy feeling and I still haven't fully come to grips with it, but I can do that in three weeks when I'll be alone on my 12-hour flight home, haha!
I probably won't be breaking out the winter gear because after a few colder weeks we're getting a warm week coming up, and I'm determined to not have to go rummaging through suitcases until I have to pack for that very last time.
We had a few lessons and one man came to church. We're on the streets a lot trying to find even more people. President Wirthlin (mission president) dedicated a new church building in a suburb of Odessa, so that's exciting! And General Conference is just around the corner, so we're excited to invite all our members and people we're teaching to watch that with us.
I had an interview with President Wirthlin while he was down here in Odessa, and he told me that I have to start pulling my weight around here, lol! Since I'm an old, rusty, experienced veteran now, he wants us to do lots of exchanges before I leave so I can teach these youngsters a thing or two. :) I'm looking forward to that! It'll be a busy last three weeks, but how better spend them than with my favorite elders?
