Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I'm still alive--haha!
So we got transferred again, and I'll be staying in Odessa, but getting a new companion--Elder Hamzawi! We had a super-quick, three-week transfer to match our mission's schedule with the missionary training school's schedule, and during those three weeks I was with Elder Robinson. I really enjoyed being with him. Those three weeks flew by!
We've had some good lessons with people and good conversations on the street with people. We're doing a really good job about telling people about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and The Book of Mormon, and we're teaching all who are interested in finding the truth.
Elder Hartman got on a train for Mission Headquarters last night, and will be flying home to California in a few days. We're going to miss him! I'm super grateful I was able to serve with him for a bit before he left. He's an awesome guy. Best of luck to him at home!
So yeah I'm not going to write a ton, but I have pictures! To explain, a member invited us over to have Shashlik to celebrate Elder Hartman finishing his mission. Shashlik is basically Ukrainian BBQ. There's also a photo of Elder Hartman and me together and one of our zone playing Gatorball. The Odessa Gatorball tradition died out while I was in Sumy, but Elder Rowland and I brought it back!
