Week 23: Time Flies on the Lord's Errand

Hey everybody,

This week I will officially hit the 18 month mark. It's been pretty crazy to hear about all the Sisters that left at the same time as me heading home. I've still got a while left but it was definitely an eye opener for me just to realize how fast my mission has been passing.

This week has been pretty great! We had the second hour of church for the first time since I left Brazil. We are still entirely over zoom but we split into breakout rooms for Elders quorum and Relief Society. Christian was able to make it and get to know some more of the branch members which was great. We also had another lady we are teaching attend just over a phone call. After the call she said that she wanted to be baptized! She has some things that she still needs to work on to be ready but it was great to hear that she had been feeling the spirit and was prompted towards baptism. Potsdam really has been full of people who are just ready to accept the gospel. I'm glad that I was able to stay here with Transfers this week. Elder Larsen was transferred but Elder Carlisle and I stayed with our new companion, Elder Judy. Overall it was just a really good week!
