Santa Beanie!!

Well this week was pretty good! It went by a little slower than normal but it was also crazy hectic!

So we got everything situated in our new apartment except this apartment has housed missionaries for about 20 years and there was a lot of unnecessary items there that Elder Despain and I threw away. We had over 6 trash bags full of random garbage haha. But we got to have a place where the spirit can dwell, both in our bodies as well as our living spaces.

ELDER RASBAND CAME TO LUBBOCK, TEXAS!! It was sweet! There was a meeting with all of the missionaries on Saturday and he shook al of our hands! He was so loving and kind and I'm grateful for the chance that I had to sit in the presence of an Apostle of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Our one and only investigator came to church so that was a blessing! She's really nice and she’s been meting with the missionaries for over a year so we're hoping to try and help her progress as much as possible.

At the mission tour I got to see Elder Nielsen! Man, it's been such a long time since I've seen him!

So we were helping our vehicle coordinator, Elder Cayton, get some cars ready to go back up to Salt lake to be sold and he said that we each could grab a car and go drive it down the block and test the steering and brakes, etc. and I got to drive one of the trucks by myself haha. It was weird driving by myself cause back home I had my music that I would bump to and my whole mission I've had a companion in the car. So it was weird driving in silence. I felt like Tyler Joseph form Twenty One Pilots when he said, "Now I just sit in silence" (Car Radio) haha.

But overall I'm grateful for the Lord and His hand in the great and marvelous work! Even though we may get down when we're not in the most ideal circumstances, He knows that we can make it through! He loves us and we can never, EVER forget that. If we forgot who we are and what we stand for, we'll fall and it's going to be ridiculously hard to get back up. I can promise each and every one of you that read this that if you continue to count your blessings and ask your Heavenly Father so strengthen you and guide you that He will. He can never back out of His promises. That thought would never enter into His mind. Love you all and hope y'all have a great week!

Ps. This is my Santa Beanie, I love it:)
