Man so this week was pretty good! We just found out that Elder Rasband is coming to visit our mission the first week of December! It's going to be sweet!
So this week things are starting to pick up, slowly but surely. We were able to pick up a new investigator after our other one dropped us so that was a blessing. Our new investigator Josh is a really cool guy! He just barely aged out of YSA so that was a relief. We actually have someone that we can teach and not have to pass off to other missionaries. He actually already had a Book of Mormon from previous missionaries and he knew exactly where it was. We had a great Restoration lesson with him and he wants us to come back and teach him more!
We helped a lady that works at our apartment complex move and she had a ton of stuff, but we were able to help her move it all! She was teary eyed while she was telling us thanks and she said that we left a HUGE impression on her kids. So we're working on small steps with her. Nice to identify the Spirit for her.
We also met a really nice old Jewish lady while we were out tracting and we started talking about the Book of Mormon and whatnot and she wanted a copy! So we gave her a copy and told her that we wanted to come by and talk about it more. She was super sweet.
The Lord is preparing people in this area, I know that for sure. We're still trying to figure out what we need to do so that we can be as effective as possible. But sometimes the Lord needs us to sit back, take a gander at what's important and then figure it out from there. I'm not quite sure what He wants me to be doing yet, still just trying my best and being my best.
