What kind of difference the BoM can make!

So this week was little better! My ankle is starting to get better! Just taking a lot of ibuprofen and icing it a ton! But we were able to go out and talk to a lot of people! A lot of them weren't interested, as usual, but we did meet some people that we were able to have great conversations with!

We met this guy named Bernie the other day and he invited us back and we taught him the Restoration and he said that he would read the Book of Mormon! So that was a tender mercy from the Lord! So we officially have 1 investigator in the teaching pool! But he's college age, so that means we have to pass him off to the sisters that are in the YSA ward... so that's great haha

We did a ton of service at the Food Bank and there's this guy there named Lalo and he loves the missionaries and it's great to spend time with him! He's a riot. Every other word that he says is the "f" word but he says it so much that you can’t even comprehend it anymore. Wish he would stop. But he is hilarious and loves being around us.

We've also been working with less actives in the area and trying to meet members to see what they've been up to and seeing how we can be of most help to them!

I've been starting to recognize the Lord's hand in things as we strive to remain diligent and obedient. We contacted this guy on the porch and he said he was atheist. But as we started talking he obviously had a belief in a God, just that he was in nature and whatnot. He said that he has read tons of different books on religion and how he has studied them. I asked him if he has read from the Book of Mormon and he said no. He was really interested as to what it was and what kind of a difference that it would make! So we taught him the restoration and gave him a copy and he was stoked to be able to have the chance to read it!

There are multiple blessings that the Lord wants to give us, we just have to be diligent and obedient in keeping all of his commandments. Love you all and hope you have a great week!

Be safe and be smart.
