Elder Hatch

A week chalk full of miracles & blessings

So many blessing were poured out to Elder Hatch and I this week it was incredible! This week was chalk full of miracles and blessings from the Lord.

So we've been working with an investigator named Tim and he was a referral from a member (Ronnie Bryan) and we had a lesson at that member's home and it went great! We taught them the last half of the Restoration and Tim and his wife, Megan, accepted the invitation to be baptized! They have a baptismal date for the 23rd of July and we are so stoked for them! They also came to church! And during 2nd hour, we went into the gym and taught them about the plan of salvation and they loved it!

We also taught Philip from last week and we were able to teach him the Plan of Salvation in his trailer and he said that he would be baptized! We set a date with him for the 30th of July! We're so stoked! He also showed up to church, which was awesome! So Elder Hatch and I had a sweet idea of doing splits with some members and we separated and taught two lessons at the same time! So I taught Tim and his wife with a member and Elder Hatch taught Philip with a member! And both lessons were remarkable!

There is a family that is moving out and they are awesome! They told us they had a surprise and when we came to play basketball at the church, they had our surprises! They made us shirts with nametags printed on them so we wouldn't have to worry about our nametags falling off while we were playing! They are sick! I’ll miss them.

Hallie had her baptism this week and it went great! Her boyfriend baptized her and the Spirit was so strong there! We got to show the Restoration video to the audience while they were changing and the Spirit testified so strongly there! She was confirmed on Sunday and Elder Hatch and I got to stand in the circle with them! It was humbling!

I'm grateful for the Lord and all of the blessings that He freely gives us. It's truly remarkable and virtually impossible to try and count every blessing that the Lord has given you. But as I have continued to reflect on them again and again, I always lose count. And I can never remember them all. I love the promise that the Lord gives us: "I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say. But when ye do not what I say, Ye have no promise." If we keep the commandments and be obedient to the Lord, then He will pour out His blessings on you and you won't even have enough room to receive it. This is definitely how I have felt this week as we have been working super hard and being the most obedient that we can. I know that the Lord is also blessing my family as they have been living the principles of the gospel as well. I love you all and hope you have a great week!
