Week 103 Missionary Email: I did it!!

Hello everyone!!!

Another baptism, final testimony, and 4 more converts at the temple, and we did it - strong to the end.

Final Testimony: I gave my final testimony during zone conference this week. I imagined all of the younger missionaries, being in their shoes. I tried to tell them what I want to here if I were them. I talked a lot about trusting in Christ more than in yourself. I almost got emotional, but I didn't💪

Temple Trip: This was the most busy I have ever seen the baptistry at the temple. We had to wait a really long time, but we got 4 converts through. I was really happy to see the Oquendo family get through - they've got such a high potential here in El Pinar, and we found them with the whiteboard!!

Mesias: I have baptized a Jesús and a Mesías this transfer, I think that's a record jaja! There weren't very many people at this baptism, but I was happy to see him get baptized.

That's All Folks: I am honestly going to miss bearing my testimony of Jesus Christ to all of my loved ones. If I were to sum up my mission in one Book of Mormon scripture, it would be this:

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things" (Alma 26:12)

I have a very strong testimony of this scripture. I am aware that I am very imperfect and have many weaknesses. However, I know that through the atonement I can change and keep changing. And through that ability change, I have been able to not only serve an honorable mission, but to learn that my potential is actually limitless. I can do literally anything if it's God's will and if I truly trust in Him, and you can, too.

I know that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, along with His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. I know that Christ is literally the only way that we can progress as people and survive this mortal life spiritually. I know that the Book of Mormon is the truest book on the Earth today, and it testifies of Christ. I can use it to guide me through my daily life and to make better decisions every day. I also know that Joseph Smith, a 14-year-old farm boy, was a Prophet of God, and that he was the first Prophet in this dispensation of the true, restored church and gospel of Jesus Christ. I also know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are constantly giving us blessings, we just have to be consistent in looking for them.
