Week 46 Missionary Email
Hello everyone!!
I hope you all are doing well in the United States!! Here it's been a bit of clouds in the morning and sun in the afternoon
Goooal!!!!: You guys, today was a monumental day!! It was my first step to becoming the next Messi!! When you can't use your feet well, you use your head! I am proud to say that I scored my first soccer goal today on a header!!! However, it's just not as fulfilling as scoring a basket in basketball.
Ok, Something's Not Right Here: Well, seems like I have gotten worse at Spanish over the course of my mission.😂😂 My MTC score on the EI (test that supposedly should test your Spanish) was a solid 4.6, which I was pretty proud of. It was time for me to take it again this week, and I somehow got a 2.2. I knew that something was not right, and the wife of the mission president says that the test malfunctioned, so I guess I will never know how much I've improved!!😂😂
You're on the Mission - Enjoy It!!: Honestly, this week had a lot of ups and downs, and stresses of the missionary life. At times, other people don't understand how you're feeling, why you are who you are, or why you were late for something. In one of my past interviews with mission president, he said something to me that really honestly made a to of sense for me. He said that most of your problems as a missionary will go away in less than a day. Having this thought in my head really made a ton of sense to me, and has helped me a lot. Why would I stress over a temporal problem when I can enjoy the fact that I am a missionary. I don't have to worry about food on the table, getting good grades, politics, or anything else. Just on my relationship with God. For that, I am very grateful.
