Happy New Years

Happy New Years everyone!

So I had a wonderful time at Christmas and New Years. I had to go down to Richmond on Thursday morning to go to R&R (Return and report). I hated it because i have been sick for the past couple days and we went tracking in downtown Richmond in the super cold air. I have never hurt so bad in a very long time. But it was good to see the new area and also VCU (college). I love Virginia more than i thought i could. I walk outside and see people like Christ would if He was here on Earth. I love the rejection i get, the love i recieve and so much more. I would love to visit here anytime after my mission; but i would never live here. Everyone is in old houses and old rundown stores and everything. I do not want to live here (except my mission).
I miss the MTC, Utah, the straight roads, family, and my beautiful truck at home. I do not have any intentions to come back early though... I know from an experience i had video-chatting with my family. I was a little scared to see them agasin because i might want to come back, but that was not the case. I saw them and knew that everything is just fine back home. I knew/know that i am meant to be here in Virginia; i feel it all the time! I love my trials, i know that sounds wierd but i do.
I know that with every strong trial i have, i will get stronger with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ right beside me! I have had a lot of physical trials like back-pain, Knee's trying to go out, sickness, and headaches. I try my best everyday to "stop worrying about me and getting to work". The Lord gives me strength everyday, for example: i have been sick and when ever i need to speak, my Lord gives me the voice i need to speak with investigators.
"I will do my best, to do my duty, to God and my country, to obey the scout (God's) law, to help other people at all time, and to keep myself physicaly strong, mentally awake, and morally straight".
I know with the Holidays coming and going i will be able to help and to serve those around me, so that i can be an example just like Christ was during his Earthly ministery.
I will be seeing the D.C. Temple this month before it closes for two years. I am sooo excited to go and expeirence more temple that i can do and so much more. "i love to see the temple, im going there someday to feel the Holy Spirit, to listen and to pray". I really love going to the Temple wherever i may be. It is very different not see a temple whenever i leave my house.
I want to let everyone know that i know:
Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God. I know that Jesus bled and died for our sins. I know that love is (to me) the most important Christ-like attribute that you can grow. If you love, then you care, and when you care you understandor want to know what people are thinking/why they are so mean or so nice to us as missionaries. I know that my redeemer has RISEN from the tome. He lives! I know that without my support there in Utah, i wouldn't be strong and i would just give up, so thank you for your support and prayers. I know that the Book of Mormon is another Testiment of Jesus Christ. I know that one day we will all be with Him again! I know that i love my family and friends. I know that i am being an example for my cousins and those around me, so i will try to be a good person. I know that my family is safe as long as i am doing the work of the Lord. I know that i still have a lot ahead of me to acomplish, but i know i can do it. Not alone though. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
I love you all and hope that you have had a great time during the holidays. I will be home before you know it. Peace out and may you let God into your lives to bless you.

See ya in 2!
