#HAPPYBDAY #MAYBDAYS #MAYTHE4BEWITHYOU
First off..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD. YOU ARE SO OOOOOOOOOOLD 😉😉😉😉😉😉I love you guys so much. Then Kennedy's, then Kayla's. Dang. So many b-days. I'm
just glad your b-day was on a pday. That's kinda cool. Oh and only like 2 weeks till we get to talk again!!! OK sorry I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's talk this week....
Tuesday: so after trying to get a ton of lists done for president for zone conference, we dipped out and just was riding. I was kind of mad at elder Hatch cause he just wanted to get out of the apartment. And being on bike, we went ridiculously far for what seemed to be no
reason. But then out of nowhere, this high-schooler pops up and we start talking to him. He asked if we were jw, we told him where we were from. He was interested and told us that everyone in his family goes to a different church. So it's kind of hard to know what is going
on. But we began to ask him some questions, and he thought it was interesting that Jesus made one church, so why so many, we showed him that the church Christ established was lost. But how it can be found
again. We got his name and number and are gonna see him later. His name was Luis. After that we ran over to a lesson with a less active family. We finally threw down the loving fire. And guess what, they came to church! Sometimes it takes a little more of a nudge then we
think. And when we use faith and give them a specific invitation, the Lord is behind that invitation and pierces it into their hearts.
Wednesday:it was rainy and hard to do much. We went to English class...but no one came. Then we went to family history and I found more names to take to the temple. Even if the work gets slow here, it is never slow up in heaven. They are sprinting to get the work done.
Vamos pues. Then, elder Hatch and the bear Creek Hermanas practiced the song that we were gonna sing for zone conference tomorrow. Then off to make more lists.
Thursday: zone conference. Interesting enough, president made more changes to the numbers that we will be reporting. We will no longer be reporting member present lessons or total lessons. We are also done
with zone meetings. So just so everything is clear, a zone meeting is when just your own zone meets to do some training and role plays then zone conference is when all the zones in a certain stake get together and hear from President directly. OK cleared up. We learned a lot of
how we need to have numbers. Like the story Christ tells "which of you having 100 sheep, if one goes astray will leave the 99 and search for the one." If we are going to be good Shepherds we need to number our sheep, otherwise how would we know of one goes astray? Keep your sheep
in mind, and if they go astray or are scattered, be as Ammon and go and retrieve them. And once you have retrieved them, Circle around them so when hard times come again(and they will) they have nowhere to
run but into the safety of God's love. Then when you have found them you may rejoice. This is a happy work. I fear that sometimes we get so caught up in working "hard" or "right" that we forget that this is supposed to be a joyful thing. To bring our brothers and sisters to
the protection of a loving father. So be happy.
Friday: After English class early in the morning, we had district meeting. That was kind of a time to relax and have an over view of what just happened. Then after that all our appointments fell through....we did lots of knocking with not a ton of success. But that's OK. Can't have a perfect day everyday.
Saturday:so today was crazy!! Crazytown. So some people from salt lake came to see what we are doing for our family history and why we are doing so well. So we got to be in a call and answer some questions
then they wanted one of our investigators to join the call. So we had to hurry and bike over and get her on the call and get a translator for both sides. Then after that they asked for a member to join the call. So we biked over to a strong member and they did really well.
But then the elders invited us to there baptism. We get there. Get seated. I look at the program and they forgot to tell us that we are sharing a message. Elder Hatch and I are prepared. We ended up singing Josephs first vision in the melody of come thou fount. Strong spirit.
Great time.
Sunday. After Sunday, we had to go to a couple lessons. Then we had a surprise split we had to do. But that went super well. I was surprised with myself. It was awesome. Thank you all for everything. All your prayers and wishes. I love you all. You are in my prayers!
Les quiero mucho!!!
Tengan buen dÃas.
Nos vemos.
