Week 3: Visa Obtained

What's up everyone!! Another incredible week here at the Provo MTC.
Well, I got my visa on Tuesday!! I still have to meet with the consulate this Tuesday but once I get that done I will be ready to head for Spain in July! I also got to go on a field trip to pick up my International Driver's License at AAA on Tuesday and I never thought I'd enjoy sitting in a hot van to go to AAA so much. It was my first time leaving in like a week and almost all the missionaries headed to Spain were there so that was a great time.
This week was definitely the most in my mission so far that I've missed music. So as a district, we all started listening to the Samsung ringtones when we're walking around or when we're in our room and that seemed to fill the void for the time being. So if you get a chance, listen to "moon discovery" for me on the Samsung library and you can jam out with me. Going along with that whole music thing, Elder Dye and I went to choir practice last Sunday because it was pouring rain and we didn't really wanna walk all the way back to the cafeteria. Let me just say, be careful who you sit next to at choir practice because it definitely attracts a very unique crowd. It was chill though I learned some sign language from the sisters next to us so that made up for it.
Elder Dye and I also had our long lost brother fly in from Quebec so we're in a trio now. His name is Elder Alvarez and English isn't exactly his strong suit. But he's the nicest guy and he tries so hard to communicate with us so I feel bad most of the time. But since he moved in, they had to move us rooms so now all the jomitos are separated. But that's about all for this week, I just want to say how grateful I am to be a missionary and how important this work is.
Spiritual Thought: This week in our devotional, we talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon and how the whole Gospel depends on that book. We listened to a talk from Elder Holland about the importance of the Book of Mormon and that was the most I've ever seen anyone in Conference get that fired up during their talk. It made me super excited to go and share that excitement of the gospel with everyone in Spain. So if you get a chance, I highly recommend giving that talk a listen.
