Subject: FW: five weeks down
Fun week here at the MTC. There was almost a fist fight Saturday night. One of the missionaries from our district is Romanian and he had a gag gift sent to him by his sister. It was a book called hot guys and kittens and it was just muscly men holding small cats. Anyways one of the new Elders who had only been here like four days came into the room while the kid from Romania was in the shower and ripped the book in half. I almost lost my mind. I took like an hour chewing the Elder out for what he did. In his opinion the book was inappropriate (it wasn't) which I had to spend half the night telling him that that wasn't the point, the point is you can't just rip other peoples things in half. These young bloods that come in to the MTC thinking they are hot stuff...
On a more spiritual note, we had the opportunity to listen to Elder Ballard last night and that man is a spiritual giant. He talked about so many great things but I think the over all message was to stay positive. I know this is so important. He suggested if we ever feel down, or have negative feelings on our mission, we should write a letter to Joseph Smith as if he was in Liberty Jail. (I think he was there for 4 months) and try to cheer HIM up. I think this is an amazing idea and hope I can remember it during hard times in my mission.
Hope all of you are doing well, I love you all so much.
Crazy thing happened when I went to the Provo temple today. I ran into
my cousin Martin, who is going to BYU. I even got a photo when we went
