Another First Lesson

This week has been great! On Tuesday we did a lot of finding. We tracted for a long time and met a few nice people, and a lot of not nice people. But we did meet this girl named Ruby who invited us back on Friday, so that was awesome! On Wednesday we helped Terry out some more. I'm getting really good at shortening blinds. It's a pain in the butt though. Then we went to mutual with the Priests and they did a little missionary role play. It was super fun. They taught us a simple principle and we got to be the investigator. It was nice switching sides. Then on Thursday we headed out to Falls City and spent a lot of time in the trailer park there. Man, that place is scary. Basically everyone is addicted to some sort of drug in that place. We had dinner at a member's home that had a German shepherd Wolf mix. That thing looked just like a wolf though. It was super nice and friendly though!

On Friday we had an awesome experience. We went back to teach Ruby and she let us in. She's 20 and house sitting for a few months. We started talking and she has friend who's getting ready for a mission in a year, and another friend who's in Romania. We started talking and she was pretty open and understood what we taught her. Then I invited her to be baptized and she said yes! On the first lesson! That's so cool. I've only taught two first lessons, and we've set baptismal dates on both of them. Super powerful!

That was about it for the week. Our car was making bad noises so we took it into Salem to get fixed and that took about 4 1/2 hours. We walked around a few malls and tried to talk to as many people as possible. Then we had stake conference that night. It was awesome! President Samuelian spoke and he is amazing. He also spoke the next day on Sunday. Super super powerful.

I love you all so much! I know this is the true church without a doubt. I know our Heavenly Father knows each and every one of us and he loves us all so much!
