Hey Mr Noah-
This week was busy, as usual at home, but kind of slow at work. I had a couple of afternoons where I came home early so that was nice. Of course, Monday was Christmas, and I loved seeing and talking with you. I'm sorry I cried and made you cry. I hope it didn't make your week more difficult or make you more home sick.
Tuesday I had to take my car in and get my brakes replaced, both front and back. That was not a happy day. In November I had to put new tires on the car so in the last two months I've had to put $1500 into fixing my car. It was an all day thing and I wasn't very happy because it was more than I expected to spend. But now My car is in good shape and I don't have to worry about anything for a couple of years. Just a bad time of year to have to do it.
Friday there was a Primary social at the the Rusts house and I went and visited. It was so fun. Alyson and Bill were there so I got to visit With them. And grant and Sarah were there so it was a fun evening just chatting. Joey babysat for Sarah and that was a new thing for her.
Baby Elizabeth is doing well. Did I tell you her heart is healed? She still has her feeding tube because she can't swallow enough yet but she's doing so well.
Yesterday we only had sacrament meeting again because the heat was off in the building and they couldn't get it fixed. So we went to church with blankets and coats on. The Culbeth's spoke. She spoke about having a good attitude in our lives both the happy times and hard times. The attitude of gratitude. He spoke about not carrying around the burden of our sins and the atonement.
Taylor, Casey, Rylee, and Gma and Gpa came for dinner last night. We did our traditional seafood dinner. I always worry there won't be enough food for everyone but it turned out great. We had 1 king crab leg for each person and some shrimp scampi and cocktail shrimp and then the little snow crab legs. And then I did rolls and asparagus. Hardly anyone at rolls and only Dylan and I ate asparagus. But it was fun.
This week my lesson Was about the building and dedication of the Salt Lake Temple. They talked about the law Of chastity and I learned some thing I didn't realize. Part of the law of chastity is the way we talk. The list they gave was interesting. Watch only wholesome movies, television and videos,- well I guess that means we can't watch tv - of course dress modestly, listen and read good books and magazines, good music, think pure thoughts, choose good friends, keep your body sacred and pure, do not date until 16 but the one that was surprising to me was Use clean and pure language. They pointed out that swear words are usually describing the body or functions of the body in a nasty or dirty way. that was a very interesting aha moment to me.
Pablo and TJ are both leaving this morning. TJ is going to Vegas for a meeting and Pablo is leaving to go back to school.
Dylan has spent most of the week at Averyees and Joey has had friends here.
I'm so proud of you. I know it's not easy to be away but I know you are doing the Lords work and he is so pleased with you.
Tell me all about your week? Are you healthy? Happy? Companion? Eating? Language? Tell me everything. I love you so much.
Text me when you are on since I don't have to work today. I will be waiting.
I love you and I'm so proud of you.
