Mission Week 98

July 1, 2019

Hello family!

Here we are in Generation President Garret. Our mission president just arrived on Friday and he is getting used to the feel as President. We haven´t met or talked to him yet, but he is coming on Thursday to our zone to talk to us. Apparently as the zone leaders we have to give a little shpeal also. Que pena.... Haha no it´s good; I´m accustomed already. This week was pretty good! Again, we sadly weren´t able to get investigators to church, but we have found some very good investigators! We are very excited to be working with them for this month of July. Their names are Mydai and Eduardo´s mom (sorry i forgot her name....) Also, we found a miracle yesterday! We were in church and a young man came to us and told us that he wants to leave with us and visit his friend. This friend was baptized 5 months ago, but never got confirmed, sadly. We´re going to have to re-baptize him. So, we have a possibility for this week :)

Today is my comp´s birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Elder Valladares!! He´s 21 today. Because it was his birthday, we had a pday of Elders which was really cool! You guessed right.... we played soccer. Yeah it´s alright; I just played frisbee near the end, because we played too much soccer. I get sick sometimes of soccer haha. We got to eat tacos this week! I LITERALLY CRIED!!!!!!! I have missed tacos so much :)

I don´t have anything else to say, but I just want to end with my testimony that I know that Heavenly Father lives and that He has sent His Son Jesus Christ to direct this work. I know that as we are diligently living the Gospel each day we will be able to help the work of salvation move forth. It is His will that all of His children are saved, but as prophets have said, it just needs to start with the [One]. Keep living the Gospel!

Yours truly,
Elder Overall
