I`m just going to write a short letter, because I honestly don`t have the urges to write a ton (sorry Mom). So this week has been cool! We have been getting to know the new area a bunch. It`s been wacko, because we noticed that the area is very very big!!! But, that`s good for us, because we now know that there are a ton to baptize! Also, freak! I am seeing alot of familiar faces here, because my first ward met in the same building as 24 de Diciembre and it`s cool to see them all again!
The bishop here is cool! His name is Obispo Smith; he`s from Utah! Yeah, he`s gringo and it`s pretty cool! It`ll be fun to work with him; I can see a strong desire to work with the missionaries. I will like the ward!
We didn`t have investigators in church, but we saw a small miracle that made our day! We were talking to the Stake President`s family yesterday and we were hearing their conversion story and it turns out that my companion`s dad baptized the family of President Mena when he was a kid. It was a tender reunion for my comp and him! I`m and three bishops. That was a cool experience to see even though we didn`t have investigators in church.
So, that was it for the week. We are going to search hard this week for someone to baptize. The ward told us that there might be someone ready, we just have to find this individual. I`ll let ya`ll know next week!
