Before I begin, I have a question that´s actually been dawning my mind for awhile... Who won the World Series!??? XD XD XD Nobody knows here haha! Also, t answer your question Mom, Panama always has had three hour church, but it´s different in branches, because a lot of times their isn´t enough members to fulfill the necessary callings for three hours. So, yes, we do two hours of church here.
This week had a lot of ups and downs! The good part was that we were working super duper hard! We´ve been making it where we have appointments planned in every slot, including back-up plans, so yeah we are really busy! We´ve been finding a lot of people and seeing their progress; but if they really don´t have desire we leave them behind for a little bit, so that they can have time to prepare. Our goal is to baptize 7 this month and with the help of the youth, I think it will be possible, because they know everyone! Like yesterday, we found five people we could teach just by walking with the youth :) Tuesday was cool! The zone leaders came to do splits with us in our area and i got to work with Elder Burke! I really liked learning from him; it helped me! In that day we found 47 future new investigators, which was awesome, because we were able to have more options to teach the next day. Wednesday was normal, but strangely in the same day that the ZLs left the Elders from Irgandi (my old area) came to spend the night. They came to get their money for the change. I got to do a little work with Elder Salam from Belize. He is hilarious! It turns out in Belize they speak English as their first language. Thursday the Elders left and we worked for like half the day, because we were downloading a church video for fhe, however it took like an hour and a half. It sucked. The fhe was awesome though, because the Spirit was strong. I don´t have much time, so I will paraphrase. My companion ate someting bad on Friday, so on saturday he got sick with a fever. We didn´t work, but strangely Elder Dudley from Irgandi was sick too, so he came to the clinic here in Playon Chico. My comp and Elder Dudley went home to take a nap. I went to invite my investigators to church for Sunday. Sunday was great, because I gave my testimony and I felt the Spirit. Then, we had a baptism!!!!! Her name is Yanet and she is 8! It was a really cute baptism; at first she was scared of water, but now she is super happy to be baptized! So that was the week! I love you all and I want you all to keep excercising your faith in Christ and remember Him this Christmas season! Light the World!
