So here´s the sitch! This week I got transferred and now I am here opening another area called Arraijan 2A! It´s really nice here and I am excited to get to work getting to know everything. Nothin´ don´ phase me no more! So yeah I had to leave Elder Barela, but everything will be great in the old area; he´s a great missionary! With him we finished off the transfer with another baptism!!!!! His name is Angel and his baptism was unexpected. We baptized the other two young men and he just told us that he wanted to get baptized to put him on a better path in his life. So prepared him from Wednesday to Sunday and there we had the baptism. It was also really cool, because we let one of the priests have the honors of baptizing Angel! I think from this kind of support, it will keep him on the right path towards great blessings in his life :)
So I think it was a great way to end the transfer with Elder Barela; we truly worked really hard to find great results! It was a great experience!
So now I am here with Elder Arriaga and he is really dope. He is from Mexico and we have literally been in the same zone my entire mission! Now we´re companions and it has already been determined that we will baptize many children of God this transfer! That is the goal ;)
I´m excited for this phase in my mission! But before I keep blabbering on, here´s the week. We were really struggling with progressing investigators, so we have had to drop alot of them. However, miraculously, a lady who was invited by a member friend walked in to church and said she wants to learn more. So, Elder Varela and his new companion are going to take care of the situation there! Also, it turns out our house owner who is really inactive in the church has a nine-year-old son who isn´t baptized who went to church with his grandparents. Elder Varela is going to work with him also and help them come unto Christ! :) Then, Thursday we had splits and I went with Elder Yapias. It was kind of interesting working with him, because he is still young in the mission and it reminded me alot of where I was at his time. I was struggling a ton! But he´s really cool and he´s Provo-bred, so you would have known that he was Mormon by just me saying that haha! We had fun. Then we finished off the week and transfer off normal. And that´s all I have to say about that.....
No seriously, I can´t think of anything else to say, so here´s a motivational quote instead. [Once upon a time, there was a land that never rained..... THE END!!!!!]- Mr. Sir
