Mission Week 47

July 9, 2018

To whom it may concern,

This was a great week! Yafet got baptized!!!!!!!!! We put that man in the water haha! It was a spiritual experience and really cool, because like all the youth in the ward know him, so they came to support him :) I love the feeling when someone gets baptized! There´s always a celebration in Heaven, because someone has started their journey on the right path! It´s exciting!

So this week, was pretty normal, just seeing the progression of the investigators and focusing on peoples´needs. We worked alot, trying to find and help people progress. However, sadly, no one except our baptism was able to keep their committments for church attendance. That means as of right now, we don´t have anyone planned for baptism, but we are not worried, because I know with the Lord´s help, we will find at least one person to baptize this weekend! Because I have faith, I know that it is possible for the Lord to send us someone who is ready to be baptized now! I´ll be looking hard!

The main things that happened this week, were that we were working with Yafet (by the way, he is my homie ;)), worked with other investigators (the Hidalgo family, Siumai, Stephanie [it´s first name haha] and Carlos. We are going to try giving some of these families one more week to see if they will go to church. We also had the chance of working with an inactive family named the Valdez family. One of the members of the family isn´t a member and we invited him to baptism the first lesson and he told us [Of course!] It´s always easier to baptize when you have members in your family as your examples. His mom was honestly begging us to baptize her son haha XD I told her, Ï´ll have to check our schedule to see if we can fit him in haha!

Then, today we had pday of Elders! We played soccer and ate Little Caeser´s!!!!!! <3 <3 I HAVEN´T EATEN IT IN A YEAR!!!! It was soooooooo delicious! Oh it was also pretty sweet, because we played a little American Football! Ya know the football that´s not soccer ;) Oh funny story! So, Elder Tenney did go to Mesa High and he´s been in my district for two changes now! I decided to wear my Mountain View cross country shirt for today and he was disgusted with me haha! That´s what I call Toro Pride! I´ll send pics no se preocupen!

I just want ya´ll to know that I love you and am happy to hear about your lives! Keep being you and never change! A real warrior never quits¨!¨- Kung Fu Panda
