It´s so great to hear from you all! Your testimonies and stories are much appreciated! They make me smile :) I want you all to know that I love you and pray that you will have the love of Christ forever!
This week has been way faster than last week! I think it´s probably because almost none of our appointments fell through haha! Every day this week we were just going to all the appointments that were being prepared for baptism! We have like six families plus the new families we find through cosechas! I can testify that Cosechas are an inspired tool from God. We pray to find a family that has been prepared to hear the Gospel. once we feel which house we should go to, we yell, ¨Buenas¨ and we then pray for their family through the priesthood! This week we have found like ten people through Cosechas!
On Wednesday, I went to Zone Conference! All the areas made goals, so we can accomplish our goal of getting 403 baptisms more to reach 1000 baptisms for the end of October! I know we can do it with faith! it was cool to attend my first zone conference. It will be cool to go to more in the future! With that we worked with a family this week and finally got them ready to be baptized! There were three girls and two of them asked me to baptize them!!!!!!!!!! There names were Ana and Yoelis Argapito. I was so full of joy to do this and I´m sure the Lord had a hand in this amazing opportunity! I baptised them yesterday and i will be sure to send pictures :) If I keep working hard, I know that the Lord will watch over me and help me find those to bring the Gospel to!
Also, I didn´t have church yesterday! It was stake conference. I will have church next Sunday though! i will say this, though; I had a hard time staying awake in a stake conference in English! This conference hard to stay awake, because i had no idea what was going on haha! Something about Temples XD! It was also kind of funny, because the stake choir sang battle Hymn of the Republic, arranged by mack Wilberg in Spanish! I´m so used to hearing it in English, that cracked up! It made me think of all you Mountain View choir kids! Oh the memories hahaha!
Oh yeah, I forgot to write this! This week was the United States against Panama match for futbol! Everyone was watching the game that night, IT WAS CRAZY! Sadly Panama got beaten by the US 4-0, so everyone gave me strange looks! However, the Atonement is real, so I´m sure they have forgiven me haha. I have a picture with a family that we watched the game with for a few minutes.
Well this week has been fantastico and I wish I could remeber everything, but it´s hard to summarize everything! I love you all and am thinking of you often! I will let you know what I need in future emails! Everything is great, the water goes out occasionally, but it´s good!
This is a house across the street and ours is similar.
