This week was a fantastic week. Elder Dow and I put together a great district meeting for the rest of the district. It was super spiritual and super cool. I had never been so invested in a district meeting before. But in this one I was very involved with the creation process. As well as some of the set up. It was a blast.
It seems that as a district leader, your time is eaten up by everything. Ether by district numbers, or by ministering to the members of the district, or if the zone leaders need you to do something for them. At the drop of a hat, you could easily spend 3-4 hours doing something, not for your area. Despite all of that, in the time we do work on it. The area does super well. It seems like an oxymoron in action. But when we do work hard in the time we do have; we see miracles seemingly out of nowhere.
Like last night. We were working in the area for the last three hours before p-day and all the sudden at like 8:30 pm we get a text talking about someone who was going to church. And it's a whole family who was not baptized! Missionaries here almost never see a whole family willing to meet the missionaries. We look forward to teaching them on Wednesday.
Anywho that's all for now.
Sincerely
-Elder Merrick
