Well That sounds like a good week. As far as the ward in Fallon I have no clue. Elder Jensen said that last he knew they were doing good.
Things here have been good this week. We had our normal district council. Then we also had Interviews which caused a trip up to Fallon. So we spent quite a few miles up there and got our oil changed while there as well.
Other than that the week was pretty normal. We have been able to get some good work done. We have been working with the Howells. We have been trying our best to help them really grasp the gospel. With that we were able to think about the whole family because the Mother is supportive but not to the point of you need to get to church read your scriptures etc. So we have decided that we need to focus on her so she can help the girls stay active in the gospel. The Girls are doing fine they do have a testimony. They just don't have that 100% support of their Mother.
We did start the new member lessons with Darryl. Everything is going great there. He definitely has a strong testimony and wants to progress as fast as he can.
We had Stake Conference this week. It is weird having it this early on in the year. It was still really good. Luckily they did broadcast it down here to Fernley so we didn't have to make another trip up there.
We were able to find someone new to teach yesterday as well. Her name Is June. Elder Jensen found her in December and him and his companion wanted to Share the Light the World videos. They just haven't been able to contact her but we were and we shared them because they still apply year round. With that we were also talking about the book of Mormon and saw a couple Native American Drawings in the home and put in how it is a record of some of the Native Americans. She did not know that about the Book of Mormon and that intrigued her, because her Husband is 1/16th Native American and has never heard that aspect of the Book of Mormon. So we have an appointment set up in February. It is far out but she is interested in talking about the book of Mormon!
