So you know in Alma 19 when King Lamoni, his wife, and their servants get raised up and "many did declare unto the people that they had seen angels and had conversed with them." That's pretty much how sacrament meeting went yesterday. One of our recent converts Eder Sanjinez said he saw two angels that told him that the church and the restoration are true! Who knew? After him about 5 other people got up to share a similar experience. It's like I'm among the Lamanites or something...
Then in Sunday school talking about the sabbath day half the branch started getting confused why church is on Sunday, and not Saturday. We had to come to the rescue and save half the branch from going inactive.
Fabiola is this super cool lady who loves the church and the Book of Mormon and really wants to get baptized. There's just two problems. One, her husband doesn't want to get married. Two, she hasn't gone to church in a long time. She told us that she was stuck and there was nothing she could do. It was impossible for her to be baptized and she needed a miracle. We whipped out the ol' Ether 12:12. Miracles are more than possible with God, but He waits for our faith to be sufficient.
She was super humble and told us that she's not putting in her part. I love that! Miracles are a 2 way thing. If we want them, they are right there! We just need to put in OUR part. God will always put in His part. Fabiola came to church yesterday with 3 of her kids :)
What miracles are you waiting for? What are you going to do this week to put in your part?
